In Dotdoku, the goal is to clear the dots from the board across each of the 9 colors.
Each color shows the potential locations a Real Dot could be hiding and it's up to you to locate the Real Dots among the Decoys
Real Dot Rules: 1. Only dot in its ROW 2. Only dot in its COLUMN 3. Only dot in its REGION (3x3 Box)
Real Dots will ALWAYS follow these rules but Decoys are trying to make it hard to find which dots are following the rules.
Congradulations, you found a Real Dot! The Decoys can make it hard to find the Real Dot but Decoys can't follow the Real Dot Rules. If you find a dot that follows at least one of the three Real Dot Rules, then you found a Real Dot and can SELECT it!
Selecting a Real Dot will remove it from the board and will remove any Decoys in its row, column and region; since we know it will always follow the Real Dot Rules. PLUS, it will remove Decoys from other colors that might have been occupying the same location as the Real Dot you selected.
Move on to look for Real Dots on a different color, selecting Real Dots for another color might remove Decoys from the color you're stuck on.
If you know you've found a Decoy, remove it from that color using the "ERASE" toggle then select it OR Long-Press the dot, but be careful you don't erase a Real Dot!
